FAQS about Tree Surgery

As soon as you contact me I will offer a few free slots over the next few days on which I can visit your property to give you an on site quotation. In the darker months this may include an afternoon slot or even a weekend visit.

If you get through to my voicemail then I'm usually busy up a tree! Please leave a message and I promise I will call back by the end of the working day. As I run a small company your call will not get lost in the system or be forgotten. All calls are potential work which I appreciate gratefully.

My tree is within a conservation area or has a Tree Preservation Order (TPO) upon it

In this instance we will do a search for your property on the relevant councils website. Then if my price is agreed, I then complete an application for either situation. There is generally a six week wait for conservation area decisions to pass, and sometimes longer for separate tree preservation orders to be considered for works done. I offer advice and liaise with with the council and yourselves to ultimately reach a decision that’s suitable for you.

If I want a number of different prices for my tree and hedge work, is that a problem?

Many customers are unsure at the time of quotation and feel they would benefit on a detailed arrangement of pricing.

For example, a tree can be priced differently on whether it being reduced or felled completely and whether the customer will keep a majority of the logs and/or wood chip. Or even if the customer wants some priority tree work done immediately and the remaining at a later date.

All quotations stand for 12 months and are available in writing along with a copy of my £5 Million Public Liability Insurance from Aviva group.

How will I know I'm not being overcharged or misled with my quote?

All my prices are personally quoted by myself within the free quotation following a site visit and therefore cannot generally be priced over the phone. Details are listed on exactly what we will be carrying out within that quotation. Sometimes we can offer a day rate approach for a fixed price to include labour and removal of debris if there’s numerous jobs that are likely to change, we work very hard to get as many jobs ticked off your list to ensure a good recommendation for future clients.

Sometimes my customers receive a few quotes from other tradesmen so I'm always competitive with my pricing.

All my quotes are 'no change' prices as opposed to a vague estimate and as a small business I am also exclusive of the extra charge of VAT.

This accurate pricing makes my customers pleased from the onset.

How can I be sure of a professional job?

I learned my trade from starting at the bottom. Dragging branches and feeding woodchippers for a busy tree surgery firm in South Norfolk! I have seen what works and what doesn't for customers from all walks of life.

I like to think that now I can piece together all the good points of what I have picked up from my previous employers and put that experience to good use within my own business.

Being hard working on site, whilst maintaining a polite and approachable attitude sounds simple. It's what I do best. We leave a clean site, and customers are told how we will carry out our job and what preparation is needed if any.

Take a look at my portfolio page to see some examples of my work undertaken in Norfolk and Suffolk.

I'm there to work and get the job done and ensure as little disruptance to your garden and everyday life. If I did not do a professional job it would not benefit me in anyway of a recommendation through a pleased customer.

Satisfied customers and recommendations are what I've always regarded as the best form of advertisement. Please take a look at my testimonials page.

Areas covered in Norfolk and Suffolk

I am based in Norwich which means I can easily travel to work for customers across Norfolk and Suffolk. As I began my trade in South Norfolk I still have a lot of loyal customers based in Harleston, Diss, Long Stratton, Old Buckenham, Attleborough, Scole and the Pulhams. Whilst now being situated in East Carleton near Swardeston, I’m also regularly working in Mulbarton, Wymondham, Hethersett, Poringland, Brooke and Stoke Holy Cross amongst others. I was also based in the Golden Triangle area of Norwich ten years ago so am regularly working in Eaton and Cringleford, whilst serving all areas of Norwich city itself.

We also go further out of Norwich into surrounding areas of Aylsham, Acle, Bramerton, Bawburgh, Costessey and Taverham.
