HEDGE REDUCTION

We can reduce nearly all species of high and unruly hedge to exactly where you wish. Sometimes the customer has trimmed it every year themselves, but as time goes by all hedges will grow taller and wider from within even if they look neat and tidy from the outside. Therefore periodically a hedge reduction is performed to a lower height so the customer can then manage themselves without the need for us to come and visit every year.

We’ve had in the past where an unruly line of conifer trees have simply been lowered to a manageable height for the customer to trim from a short step ladder. Therefore gaining a much thicker lower hedge than a taller and sparser line of trees which can block out all vital sunlight. It’s also recommended for hedges under utility lines to be kept at a lower height to decrease the chance of interfering with these lines before it gets too far gone and disturbs telephone or electricity supplies.
