FIREWOOD PROCESSING SERVICE

When a large tree has been felled on site, it’s then confirmed within the free written quotation whether the customer wishes to retain all wood or for us to remove.

We have a sharp axe and more importantly a large petrol powered log splitter with a powerful 22 tonne ram to split all the wood including those stubborn knotty pieces that can make the axe bounce off! This machine mounted on a twin wheeled axle and is towed to site as the last part of the job.

Resulting logs can be then left with customer for seasoning and keeping your home warm for its final hours on the wood burner.

We also hire this machine to customers who wish to carry out the simple task themselves and save our labour to reduce the cost. We generally transport to and from your property, carry out a short instruction on how to use the machine and leave it with you for a week to get busy.
