HEALTH AND SAFETY
Working with chainsaws and at height whilst dangling from a rope has its highs and lows. Yes we insure our own personal health through injury. But ultimately if anything was to happen, we legally have to insure ourselves to protect against damage to your property.
We are insured by Aviva Group for our £10 million employers liability and £5 million public Liability. Certificate attached below.
We are First aid trained by St Johns Ambulance. Our climbing and lowering kit is regularly inspected every 6 months with a LOLER certified inspector to comply with our public liability. We all hold the ROLO Health and safety certificate. Alongside this we’re certified to work on any construction site with or CSCS cards bespoke to our particular job within arboriculture.
Risk assessments are carried out when needed and method statements provided for particular jobs also. You won’t find our staff working without hard hats and chainsaw protection trousers whilst on site. Rest assured we’re a professional company that takes its health and safety policy seriously.
